Football Manager 2009 (Football Manager 2009 (PC))

Advantages: The greatest most in depth football management game Disadvantages: Family and friends think you've gone missing The greatest and most in depth football management game is back in absolute style with the 2009 instalment of Football manager. As always every Football Manager fan is excited about the small tweaks and changes that appear in the new editions released every year. This year is an exception with major improvements which have made the game bigger and better than ever before. This year has seen the introduction of a 3D match engine, press conferences and also in game assistant manager feedback regarding tactics, player's fitness and how the team are playing in general. Having played Sports Interactive football manager (formally Championship Manager) since the '92-'93 season when it was on the Amiga 500+ this is definitely the best instalment so far although any fan of the series will always be heard saying that, when the new one has been purchased. The 3D engine will run on most PC's I'm running it on a laptop with a built in graphics card and I have experienced no problems with slowdown. The install with FM 2009 is a lot different this year as it must be installed with another program which from what I've heard you must have an active internet connection which in this day and age most people do anyway. My last word on FM 2009 is simply Buy it. Summary: Buy this game if you like football |
