Football Manager 09...Well I'm new to the cult phenomenon that is Football Manager having only started with the 08 series of the game and very very quickly becoming addicted. It is reported on various websites that Football Manager or its predecessor Championship Manger have been cited as reasons for divorce.
Now if you have never played be ready for an addictive period i your life because you will become hooked.
This is like no other you add yourself and your details to the game and then you need to select what leagues you want running, when the game starts and your database size. You can literally pick every league thinkable in world football to choose from although this would require great running time.
When your game loads you need to pick your side and let the fun/life takeover begin.
The scouting system to start is amazing, sending your network of scouts overseas to find the next Zidane or Maradonna. Looking for frees and bargains on the extensive transfer market, doing player exchange deals. If you are short of cash or buying a prospect all money can be paid in instalments or with conditions, all very realistic.

Look from managing your local side (Newry City) to managing Madrid and Milan this game is a must for everyone.

But remember O warned you, you will be hooked!
