Advantages: Amazing detail, huge database, auto updates

Disadvantages: Changes to the loan system are a bit unrealistic asking for large fees upfront

This is the latest in the series of Football Manager games which has evolved slowly but gradually in some ways. The tactics, training, scouting and interaction are all geared up nicely while the interface is still user friendly in several different ways depending on how you like to play (if you click everything or you use function keys etc)

Something I find awesome is the auto update feature through Steam (although I am not a Steam fan) makes things easier than using the old editor and it stops the game getting same old same old as fast.

The only small annoyance for me is the matchday camera (which me being computer illiterate) I cant switch off, so before every game I have to mess about to set it to overview as i'm a big old school champ man fan so like the original setup rather than shiney new cameras.

Whether you are a fan of Man Utd or East Stirlingshire this game is a must for any football fan. It covers all aspects of the game from the world cup or champions league final to the challange cup final where every match counts.

Summary: Great game that gets better each year. Well worth a shot.
