Advantages: ummmmmmm

Disadvantages: You feel compelled to buy it after the success of FM2008

First off, lets look at FM2008. It was realistic, attractive, and most of all, addictive! It was a very hard standard to follow up on.

So did they acheive the same level of quality?

No

The big new thing in this game was the 'all new' 3D match engine, an update from the 2D engine ffrom the last few games. Not only was it incredibly ugly, it was incredibly slow, and made the whole game experience jumpy and broken up.

Another new feature was the press conference. What could be more fun than answering 10 questions every time anything important happens that are all the same, and end up with nothing. Also, you can't get out of it because it just doesnt allow you, unless you 'Storm Out'. That really does sound like a blast, no?

Transfers were as inflated as ever, and teams like Newcastle and Spurs kept on winning the Premier League. Hardly the most realistic Football game around...

Summary: It making me think twice about buying FM2010.
