After 2 years of disappointment with Football Manager 2007 and 2008, this version really shows signs of improvement. The most obvious change is the 3D pitch feature, allowing you as the manager to view the game from a far more realistic perspective. This means that you can gain a greater understanding of the way your team play, and are no longer restricted to the simple 2D feature of the previous games. The press conference tool allows you to interact more with your team and the press, which can have positive or negative effects on the performance of your players on the pitch. The game has maintained its excellent database, still supporting over 20 playable countries.

If you are a fan of the series then this game is definately worth buying, and for first timers this game will not disappoint. It without a doubt remains the best manager simulation game out there.
