Advantages: Great game play for months non stop if i could.
Disadvantages: None
Gangsters ihas to be one of the best buy's this year for me as far as PC games goes and at £4.99 it is a real bargain. Set in a typical Chicago type town in the early 20s Gangster is a game where you are the boss and anything you say goes from getting your men and women to blow up the High Court or Robbing the town's banks, radio station or even small businesses. You are the boss of a small time operation to start with trying to take control of a virgin town as far as extortion and murder are concerned and you can use any means necessary to achieve this hiring more hood's,a lawyer,an accountant even snitches to let you know whats going down,Police are easily bought and with enough dow earned from robberys and tax evasion also extprtion and protection money you can bribe Judges and the FBI. This game is very much mastered by taking things nice and slowly and hitting out hard when you must and when you do send out a kill, bomb, arsen, ambush or kidnap order you can watch it as it happens and with brilliant effects you will get lost in viewing for hours seeing buildings burn to the ground and people who don't want to pay for protection get done over really is graphic in every sense so best for over 15 year olds I think. There are about 5000 different characters each with their own individual skills and names all of whom can and will be bought for the right price increasing your hold on the town so you can even have your accountant run for mayor and then the power really begins. You are however not alone in this town and with 5 other gangs all trying to be in control you will get to make war, peace,or alliance with them depending on the mood that takes you. The game is very easy to play once you have got the hang of it but when you get the option to have a tutorial on your first go I would take it as it will show you through all the icons and what they do and with one of your hood's voices talking you
through it. Throughout the game if you have good men under your control they will help you through and tell you when more money or men are needed then all you do is go out there and rob banks or recruit new hood's. As the title say's True Power is never given it is........TAKEN. This game only cost me £4.99 from Electronics Boutique made by Sold out Software who do also a great range of other titles all for about the same price so go on what have you got to lose BOSS!!!!!!
