Advantages: Good shooter game
Disadvantages: Gets a little repetitive
When this came out a couple of years ago I really enjoyed playing it for a brief period of time however after a while it became a little dull and rather predictable.
The game sees you leading a team in a number of paintball competitions, there are various formats to play and the ultimate aim is to win the International Gotcha Cup. To do that you will have to win the tournament that features 28 other teams, what is good about this game is the fact that each team brings with it their own set of challenges and you also have to adapt to the various fight arenas of which there are seventeen to enjoy, these ensure a bt of variety with both urban and rural locations. Thee are quite varied and well set out with the Medieval Castle my favourite for the atmosphere of suspense that it creates while the oil rig is well set out and quite challenging but overall visually the game is pretty good.
The controls are easy to pick up and the player responses are pretty sharp, the aiming mechanism could be better but it is ok once you get used to it however on occasions the AI lets the game down a bit.
This is not a bad game to get hold of if you find it in the bargain bucket however certainly not worth paying more than a fiver for, Amazon have it for £8.99 new or from 98p in the new and used.
Summary: Good paintballing based game.
