Extremely fun game to play (Grand Theft Auto 2 (PC))

Advantages: a great style of gaming.

Disadvantages: Not much of an advance when compared to GTA

The sequel of one of the best games ever to be produced.
Grand theft auto 2 did not enjoy the sucess of its predecessor but was, nonethelessan exceptional game.
In terms of graphics and gameplay, not much changed since the first version of this series. the graphics were only slightly superior and the game was a played at a little slower pace. In terms of new ideas, the guys at rockstar decided to create a more gangstyle game. In other words, in GTA2, there are several gans with which you can become more or less friends with by doing missions for them. Normally, becoming close to one gang means that the other gangs will hate you, hence you must chose well your strategy (I, for instance, at the beggining was practically neutral, which meant I could roam around the entire city. latter on, I becane friends with the green gang but I had a lot of difficulties to move around other gangs turf).
Overall, the game is pretty good, although it was a bit of a dissapointment when compared to GTA1. Still, it is a highly recomendable game.

Summary: If you like gangster games, look into the GTA series.
