Absolutely amazing game, but major performance issues on the PC (Grand Theft Auto IV (PC))

Advantages: Loads of things to keep you busy for hours

Disadvantages: Not good performance on even good-spec PCs

Grand Theft Auto IV is in my opinion, not only the best game of the Grand Theft series, but one of the greatest games ever released. The amount of things that you can do on the game is endless, and it will no doubt keep you playing for many hours.

You have to complete lots of missions, such as driving people of different locations and helping them if they get in to trouble, taking women on dates, socialising with friends and much, much more. You can even go bowling, play darts or pool on this game!

Now I come to the massive down side with the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV, it's performance. Even if you install the latest patch and recommended graphics drivers for the game, it still runs very slow at times, and the online feature is unplayable because it keeps disconnecting me, saying that my PC is too slow. My PC is quite recent and has a top graphics card, good processor and 2GB or RAM, so it is definitely not low-spec. Alot of my friends tell me that this game runs like a dream on the X Box 360 though, do if you have one of those, buy the game for that!

Summary: Great game, but be prepared for slow gameplay on the PC
