Advantages: it gives you alot if gameplay

Disadvantages: It didnt solve the resesion

This game was doomed from when it was first announced. For this game to live upto it's own hype it would have had to have been able to solve the reccesion and dispense $100 bills.
But considering it was designed by meer mortals and that it is limited by the platform it is set in i.e a city where you do missions and kill people it wasnt to bad.
It offers good graphics a greater ability to roam through the map an interact with objects and a relatively good shooting experience. The game also offered a far superior (compared to GTA San Andrease) driving experience that rivals driving games; but considering the budget this should and was expected.
The area that this game did excell was in it's story line, GTA IV was as much a short film (or very long if your a shit gamer) that offers twists and turns in the lives of to imigrants as it was a game
Although it was inevitable that this game was a disapointment it wasnt a bad one, like being dumped but finding out she wants to be friends with benefits.

Summary: Good but not great
