Basically, In Grand Theft Auto, Vice City, you start as the character of Tommy Vercetti and then gradually do missions for various different people and start to develop your reputation around the island. Eventually you will unlock the other islands. Once you have unlocked the other islands you do missions to try and take over Diaz's gang which means you own his estate and you can invest your money in businesses for example the ice cream factory and taxi company. The graphics are really good on the PC and it takes up only about 4GB which is good for this type of game. The story is similar with the other Vice City games just graphics are different because of it being on ... Read the complete review

For those who have played GTA3 on the PC: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a lesson in how to take a game which is already bordering on genius and improving it. If you enjoyed GTA3, then you will love Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Go and buy it now. No excuses. For those who have not played GTA3 on the PC: Vice City is a game played in the third person perspective (rather like Tomb Raider). In this game, you play an ex-convict called Tommy Vercetti (voiced by Ray Liotta) who is just out of prison and has been sent to Vice City (i.e. Miami) by his 'boss' to expand their operation down there. However, your very first drug deal is ambushed by ... Read the complete review

In Grand Theft Auto, Vice City, start as the character of Tommy Vercetti who is an-ex Mafia employee who was doing time in prison but then escapes whilst transferring to another prison. You start out in Vice City with little or no money, the huge terrain of buildings canals, rivers, skyscrapers, beaches, islands slowly unwind as you progress through the game. The overall aim is to take over the city. This general objective is taken care of mostly via the main story script, but there are many sub-threads that I will describe later that inter-weave with the main plot, this in my opinion offers unseen levels of flexibility in how you approach and complete the ... I've now played Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the PS2 and the PC and decided to write a review on the PC format as it's simply the best of the two. In Vice City you play as Tommy Vercetti, a newly released tough guy who soon goes back to his old routine of law-breaking. Tommy is almost killed in a drug deal gone wrong and you basically have to get back your drug money and dispose of the men who have double crossed you. You'll go on random killing sprees and eventually see yourself (well, Tommy) as head of the Vice City mafia. Doesn't sound like much of a plot but when you're playing you'll find out there are so many twists and turns, not to mention complex ... Read the complete review

I doubt there are many gamers out there that have not heard about Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, especially after its amazingly successful debut on the Playstation 2. As many people expected, Rockstar Games have ported Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to the PC. Now after months of waiting, Vice City is finally here. Was it worth the wait? Vice City is set in the mid-1980's, in a Floridian metropolis that most closely resembles the neon-and-pastel world of Miami Vice. You play the role of Tommy Vercetti, an ex-con in his mid-30's who's just finished serving 15 years in maximum security prison. Tommy has ties to the Forelli family, who sends Tommy down south ...
