Drive around different citys shooting,stealing and get chased by an endless amount of police cars.

Grand Theft Auto puts you into a mind of a criminal that has found work with someone. Go to the phones to find out your first job. Each job giving you a different amount of money depending on the hardness of it. Some, you just have to steal a few cars and take them to the docks to be sold, other you have to the leader of your gangs brother who is being gaurded by a load of men holding machine guns where as you have a pistol. Do enough missions and you move to a diferent city with different scenery, cars and missions.

The amount of different cars on GTA is endless some go extremly fast but blow up after one bump leaving you in the hospital, one life lower and all of your guns lost.Or, you could go with a slow but strong car. However, these cars cannot get you away from the police who are usually on your back and if they do capture you take away your guns and half your multiplier(the amount your money is timesed by when you either complete a mission,kill someone or just steal a car).

You can also pick up bonuses by finding crates with a "kill frenzy" in. This is when you have to get a certain amount of point from just killing people or destroying passing cars. If you do get enough points you can get anything from an extra life to a bigger multiplier. However, you do have to find these on the lter levels.

Their are 3 different citys on GTA, the first and second citys having 3 levels and the third one having 2. The fist 2 citys though don't need nearly as much points to complete than the last one. But, each level is much the same, apart from the amount of missions and the different scenery.

Summary:
