Advantages: Great community, no monthly fees

Disadvantages: Dated graphics

This game looks to exploit the market of wannabe WoW players who din't want to fork out each month to play. It does it well. Sure it doesn't have the depth of features but it is still an enjoyable MMORPG that reaches a wide audience. There is a healthy community to help out the less experienced and a Guild system to further aid players. The basics of the game are the traditional pick your class, build up skills, upgrade weapons and armour, take on creatures, gain experience level up etc etc. The combat is handled directly with the use of spells and skills activated by either the keyboard or the mouse. The in game music is particularly easy on the ear and adds tto the experience. The game itself is beginning to look a little dated, don't expect COD 4 graphics! The game features regular updates which help maintain a balanced playing experience for all. It is one of those games where it is all too easy to lose yourself for a day or 2 and then suddenly realise you have missed a day at work! Overall I would say that this is a great game to play as a first foray into the MMORPG market.

Summary: A Good beginners RPG
