A good game just not for me (Half-Life 2 (PC))

Advantages: loads of gameplay,fantastic graphics

This is not a type of game i usually buy but when my friends boyfriend gave her a couple of them i decided to try it out.

Described as "the most intense and exhilarating conflict ever undertaken in a video game" would it live up to its hype?

The game itself was really easy to install on the computer but does need a direct x 7 level graphics card so if your card isn't as good as this it might make the game run slower.The graphics are amazing.The environments look so realistic its like they are taking from real life if you get what i mean.

Game play-The game is really addictive and offers weeks of enjoyment. Like other shooter games out there this game has first person perspective. There is also heaps of weapons to choose from in this game.There are puzzles in the game and as you progress through the game these can get quite hard.

Story
Gordon Freeman a character from previous games has to try and rescue the world from aliens.Not a game i would usually go for but it works really well.

A must have for half life fans , not for me though as i prefer things with less killing.To be honest i cant see why the game is that popular it just doesnt do it for me.
