My dear! This game is a superb one. The first ever game for Harry Potter series. In this game, it is really "according to the book" type. If you had read the book and you like the book, then you will like this game too. This game is Harry-centred. The game starts at the Hogwarts where you will have flashes of movie about things happened in Sorting. The character in there is good, though not like the actor...It's the original sketch of Harry and other character...none influenced by actor and actress. In the game, you go along according to the book...and first you will have lessons to learn spells and all sorts. The spells are learned through movement ...

Since finishing the last book, I needed to fill the void left in my life, so bought the game to tide myself over until the next book is released next year. Anyway as I'm sure nearly all know, Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone is the first in series of the much hyped Harry Potter books, and also the title of the recently released film, on which the game has been based. Cheap, good value for money, solid gameplay Not particularly innovative, episodic gameplay means not whole story is told.
