To play the game itself, the leading player will present a card and the other three players will present a card of the same suit. If the same suit is not available, a player may play a card from any other suit. From the four cards presented, the highest card from the leading suit receives the offering and any points accordingly. The system requirements to run this ga...more

Premium Review Hearts (PC): staying away with a heart (1000 words)
by - written on 01/01/08 (Very useful, 56 readings)
Rating:

Hearts is a game you can find almost anywhere. It's more than likely on your PC as one of the pre installed games you find in applications. It's available on all the free gaming sites online, to be played against other people or computer generated opponents. -Idea of game- The idea of the game is to get rid of your stockpile of cards without gaining any of the heart cards as they mean big points, and this is a game where you try to collect the least amount of points possible. -How to play- The game is played with four players, and the deck of 52 cards is dealt equally between the four. Spend some time quickly sorting your cards ...  Read the complete review

This is a game that I taught myself to play via the Internet. I play alot on MSN Gaming Zone. This is free to play and you can play with players across the world, although you will find most are in America. I find it alot better when you play with real people over the net, and you can chat to them while playing. Ok now you can play this with 3-7 players, although my review will be the 4 player game, this is the easiest type to play. This is a real easy game to play, once you know how to, as I said I taught myself so it can't be that hard lol. Firstly you have a deck of 52 cards, the players cut for the deal the lowest cut card deals, although on MSN the ...  Read the complete review

Hearts is a card game released for the personal computer as part of the Windows operating system. Its history is erratic as the game has been seen on early Windows releases such as Windows For Workgroups 3.1 but is absent from more mainstream releases such as Windows 2000. I was not able to immediately find an age rating for this game but it's likely that it would be found suitable for all ages. Hearts is a card game which rewards the cunning. It is a four player game which features one human player and four computer opponents. Each hand begins with 13 cards dealt at random and the player must "pass" three unwanted cards to a nearby player. In ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I Love Hearts! (688 words)

Rating:

Hearts is one of those free card games you've probably got on your PC, along with Minesweeper & a few others. It's a game played by four players &, in the version I have the players are Pauline, Michelle, Ben & Me (ie the person playing the game). Pauline, Michelle & Ben are, of course, controlled by the computer. The objective of the game is to score as few points as possible. Each card in the Hearts suit scores one points whilst the Queen of Spades scores 13. Playing the game:- In round one, after the cards have been dealt & you have seen them, you can pass three of you cards to the player on your ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Hearts (PC): You don't need a heart to love this game (1359 words)

Hearts is a card game that to most non-pc users is unfamiliar as the game became popular due to its inclusion in the windows games. ~~ Location ~~ For a computer using windows, you can get to the game by using the start menu: accessories: games: hearts. For windows vista packages you simply go from start to games to hearts. Alternatively the game can be found on many sites on the internet by searching for: "hearts card game" in google. ~~ Rules ~~ The objective of the game is to accumulate the least number of points throughout the game and the winner is the player with the least number of points when another ...  Read the complete review
