has a fan of the heroes of might and magic series since version 1, i was very disapointed with this sequel to the best of the games that, imho, is the best of the series (heroes of might and magic 3). i was expecting new factions and more creatures. what i got was even less then the previous game. the towns are ugly and uninspired, being all of them very similar. the troop models are to simple for those used to the colorfull and interesting designs of the previous game. some of the new rules are completely stupid, specially the siege rules with no siege engines. but there were things that i enjoyed in this game. the new battlefield and rules ...

A fantastic turn based strategy games that see's a fantasy realm full of Dragon's, Troll's, Mage's, Magic and Heroes come to life, but with a definite hint of strategy, hard decision making (does your hero follow Might or Magic?) and excellent combat. I'm now into the second (of six) campaigns of Heroes of Might & Magic IV (4) and I've got to say I now love the game. This wasn't always the case though, but with patience Heroes grows on you til you can't put it down. If you've played and loved Heroes of Might & Magic 3 this sequel takes some getting used to.
