Advantages: Pretty much everything, ducking, crawling, guns, graphics, sound, gameplay... the list goes on

Disadvantages: being sucked into the ground and it could be a bit more difficult

This game is flawed, but this has no weight against it's brilliance.

The campaign's individual plots are superb, they are so good you really get into the whole World War feeling. There are missions where you must cross a beach which has enemy fortifcations all over it and you feel like your there, the sound of the tanks and of nature is unsurpassed let alone challenged. The realism is very well orchastrated with your men dying easily if they get shot, or blown up ¦¬).

The game is also historically accurate, with the correct guns used by either side and i swear even the German is sounds right.

You must also think so stay alive in this game, you certainly can't just run in and expect not to die, because you WILL die. This is where the sniping comes in, and everyone loves sniping. In H&D the sniping inly works for sniper rifles with a scope, unlike Delta Force where one appears from nowhere. Also the skill of the operator is also essential so not everyone can do the business.

This game is demanding graphically as I had to go and buy a new graphics card just to cope, but it certainly was worth it, and a good reason to get a new one, btw it was a VOODOO3 2000, this runs it smoothly and makes you want to cry with happiness, I nearly did :) But with your powerful hardware you get mist, fog, bridges, forests, the lot, shear genious.

As I said at the beginning, this game is flawed. The main one, and most frustrating, is when your man falls through a sudden tear in the ground and he dies. This is due to the makers wanting to put in an in-game save option, and this is what caused the problem, so you have to use there in game save every five minutes because your men could just be sucked into the ground at any moment. But in the sequel it will be fixed and then the game complete.
