Advantages: Superb in every way

This has to be, without a doubt, one of the finest games I have ever played. A 3d combat game set in World War II, you take control of an elite team of European soldiers to perform missions behind enemy lines against the advancing German Army.

The team is stranded, so you must try not to lose any men or equipment, because resupply is impossible. Weapons can be captured from the Germans, and used by your own men. This becomes very important later on in the game, when ammunition plays a big part.

The story line is superb, with some fantastic unexpected twists bringing about some superb ideas and locations thrown in to really challenge the player tactically. For example, woodland, a dam a military base etc. All of the missions are wonderfully designed and very tough indeed and the graphics are nothing short of superb - beware though, you will need a good PC with a 3d accelerator to enjoy this game properly.

The men in the game are also intelligent with good AI and you can view the game from different angles. If you want a 3d first person perspective World War II combat sim, this is definetly it - it's like every great World War II movie rolled into one!
