Hitman 2 is the sequel to the great and popular classic Hitman: Codename 47. We begin the game in a Sicilian church, you get a chance to get to grips with the controls which are similar to the first so if you?ve played that then you will find it easy to immerse yourself into the seedy dark underworld life of 47. After confession with 47?s religious mentor everything goes down hill, he gets kidnapped and you, as 47, are forced to re-enter the life that you gave up to get him back. Hmmm original enough storyline for a game I suppose. Many a person to be killed, met or avoided on your travels which take you far and wide. You go from Sicily to St. Petersburg to ... If you?re looking for a shoot ?em up game that?s all out aggression, then this isn?t it. Yes you do get times when you need to kill whoever you can, but most of the time you need stealth! You play Number 47 ? an assaissain for hire, who has to go back to killing in order to save his friend, a priest. But in order to help his friend heneeds to help his old employers, he needs his old employers to enable him to have access to their expertise, and equipment. Silent Assassin requires you to think about how you?re going to complete the mission rather than just going in and shooting whoever you can. The best way to get through the game is not to resort ... Hitman 2 is one of the most entertaining games I’ve played this year. I congratulate the person who thought up the concept of Hitman. It is just so much fun, it’s the action gamers dream come true! The game’s title speaks for itself. You play a hitman called 47. At the start of the game he comes out of retirement when his neighbour is kidnapped by some Mafia looking types. He strikes a deal with his old agency, come back and work for them and they’ll help you rescue your neighbour, who is a monk(very strange). Your efforts to rescue him take you to many different locations and environments around the world. Hitman 2 is a success in many ... Read the complete review

I would be lying brazenly if I didn't say that I was truly excited about playing this game, a huge fan of the original I was looking forward to, well…to more of the same really. More of the same though cannot be considered a bad thing though, can it? Our hero or antihero, if you will, who left gamers (in the PC only original) standing coldly over the body of his genetic creator, seems to have followed the path of so many great movie good guys, and turned to spirituality. Painting a fence, tilling the rocky land of thy neighbour for the good of the soul. Unfortunately Mr.47's neighbour is a Sicilian priest, and Italy being how it is, it isn't long ... I am Agent 47. A genetically engineered butcher for hire. A Silent Assassin. Robbed of my quiet life, forced to fight for a stolen friend - I am forced to don my gloves once again, and resume the terrible business I have all but removed from my mind. I stand on a hill, sun glaring down on my bald head. I equip my binoculars, and see my target, a Mafioso boss, playing golf on the balcony of his villa. How to get at him? I see a postman to my left, carrying flowers. Should I strangle him with my fibre-wire, steal his clothes and assume his identity, using the cover to get past the guards standing by the gate? Then again, to the right there is a delivery boy. ... Read the complete review
