The Hitman series has been a strong candidate in stealth assassin games. Contracts being the third in line is said to be one of the most darkest yet as you get into the suit of agent 47, the perfect clone assassin who takes the most dangerous assignments in assassination. The game is seen as flashbacks as 47 recollects various assassinations he has performed in countries like Romania, UK, budapest, hong kong , Paris and so on. the plot gives the game the opportunity to have different assassinations without the need to ever connect any of them together like the need in previous titles. The gameplay is ideally the strong point of the game where you can use a ... Read the complete review

I love the Hitman games and this one is no exception in my books. Its dark, gritty, challenging, tense and surprisingly enjoyable. This one is defintely the darkest in the series as its missions are very explicit (especially the meat house level which features a girl that has been hacked to death) however on top of that its also the hardest to date and you really have to think to successfully hit your way through each mission. You once again play as ruthless contract killer - agent 47. The guy with the famous trait of the barcode on the back of his bald head. But dont let his head fool you, hes a super efficent killer. The missions in this game are all unique ... Read the complete review

You know, I really don't know what to make of the Hitman games, and this review could be for any other ones I've played. I really like the premise and the storyline; you play Agent 47, a genetically engineers assassin working for shadowy government forces. The look and feel of the game is great, plenty of creeping around in the shadow, scoping out targets and enemy positions, creeping up on enemies and garrotting them or picking them off from a distance. In addition, although the graphics aren't anything too special, the voice acting and the story are first rate- you play Agent 47, reliving his previous jobs after a hit goes wrong and leaves him fighting for ... In Hitman:contracts, I didn't really know what to think. This game is deep, and the number of ways to get past each level is staggering, but a single mistake in the game means a hefty retrace through the level back to what ever you missed. This game is for sharp people and it can get quite difficult, and it might of been fun, if not for the mediocre graphics. These really detract from the "feeling" of the game, and although you can hide in shadows, steal uniforms, and sneak about, there really isn't much point if the graphics make you think. "Meh, this isn't real, I don't feel *involved*" The sound is again not that good, footsteps ... Read the complete review
