Advantages: Great gameplay, stealth, multiple ways to finish level

Disadvantages: Repeat mission from 1st game

The Hitman series has been a strong candidate in stealth assassin games. Contracts being the third in line is said to be one of the most darkest yet as you get into the suit of agent 47, the perfect clone assassin who takes the most dangerous assignments in assassination. The game is seen as flashbacks as 47 recollects various assassinations he has performed in countries like Romania, UK, budapest, hong kong , Paris and so on. the plot gives the game the opportunity to have different assassinations without the need to ever connect any of them together like the need in previous titles.

The gameplay is ideally the strong point of the game where you can use a number of ways to end your targets life and complete objectives. Plant a bomb, put some poison in his food, fibre wire him or shooting him in the head with a sniper rifle 2 miles away is just the tip of the iceberg. The numerous possiblilties of finishing each mission offers tons of replayabiity. You can also go in guns blazing instead of the traditional stealthy approach as 47 is a master in guns wielding and can take more punishment than the average human. From a stealth perpective you can change into any costumes, drag bodies around, crouch and hide in places, pick locks and peek through holes. If john woo bullets everywhere is your style you can use various weapons from melee, handguns to semiautomatics and rifles.

The levels itself is quite detailed and designed in a way that has you experimenting different routes till you find one that you like. The graphics is good for the PC and the bar code on 47 balds head can be read depending on your computers resolution. The music is different from most games but fits the game briliantly as you get the vibes when it changes according to the gameplay.

The only drwback I found in this game was that a lot of mission were similar to the 1st in the series and although they added new gameplay elements it felt the same and this is what makes this game less fun than the previous 2.
