Industry giant 2 allows you to build a business supplying any combination of 150 products, each with their own manufacturing process. You can then create a distribution network over a number of cities using trains, ships, lorries and planes. The game incorporates competition and random events such as sudden surges in demand for a particular product. The interface is simple to use and easy to pick up as you go along. The main problem I have had is that there isn't a quick way of replacing all your vehicles so when they start to break down you have to work your way down a long menu changing each one individually. Amongst all the God sims out there for the PC, the game that would appear on the top of the list would probably be Sim City 3000. However, the bottom would probably show this game. The game is trying to recreate the fun and thrill from the likes of Microprose's Transport tycoon. Basically, the aim is to try and provide the raw materials industry with some fresh man-made merchandise. Sound easy? Well, there are other competitors in the league as well but unfortunately, this does nothing to increase the level of difficulty of the game and I found it too easy to eventually become 'God of the Industry World' The game is quite accurate, though. ...
