Advantages: Large variety of products and interesting maps

Industry giant 2 allows you to build a business supplying any combination of 150 products, each with their own manufacturing process.
You can then create a distribution network over a number of cities using trains, ships, lorries and planes.
The game incorporates competition and random events such as sudden surges in demand for a particular product.
The interface is simple to use and easy to pick up as you go along.
The main problem I have had is that there isn't a quick way of replacing all your vehicles so when they start to break down you have to work your way down a long menu changing each one individually.
Sometimes upgrading vehicles doesn't work probably so their loads don't increase, the only way round this is to save and reload the game.
IG2 does get repetitive and its not really challenging but it can still be fun just to tinker with a business and watch your trains full of microwaves winding their way around the map.
