Originally released for the Sega Megadrive in 1993 then ported over to the Amiga and PC, Jungle Strike shares the same format as its predecessor Desert Strike, once again requiring you to pilot an Apache helicopter through a 3D-isometric landscape carrying out strikes on military targets such as tanks, troops airstrips, barracks and factories, attacking them with missiles and a chaingun while stopping occasionally to winch up fuel drums, ammo-crates, hostages and missing-in-action friendlies. In this the helicopter attack follow up game to Desert Strike, you must this time travel deep into the Jungle to defeat the forces of the son of deceased Tyrant Kibaba (the bad guy in Desert Strike). Kibaba's son having none of the political links of his father he has resorted to enlisting the help of a Colombian drug lord named Carlos Ortega. Between Kibaba's money and Ortega's resources they have built up a vast army with Nuclear technology courtesy of Kibaba's father smuggling them prior to his death.
