 ... play it has all of this and more. The community behind the game are what make it for me. What can I say except that they can be fanatical but always friendly and offering advice on how to play and even beat them! There are many events run by fans of the game. I am currently the cahmpion of the Lil Sis house a comical event where yo play the game but are in a sort of Big Brother house. all vitural and takes a little bit of roleplay to give it some life but it was a great event. Wow What a game all that fun and excitement in an online game that can be played all you need is an email address. If you are a fan of X-com series or Jagged alliance series or if you recognise the Gollops Laser Sqaud name then you know what kind of fun you are in for! Well the game is a sqaud based you can battle with 3 different races on over 30 different maps, which by the way most of have been made by the players. You yourself can create a map and could have it played on by the multitudes. This is not any of your 'buy and forget' millarky. One on one warfare that tests your metal against that of another.War has been the favourate game of men since we learned to walk on two legs and throw a cows scull at our mates. Ever evolving from suggestions of the freindliest on line community, this 'game' would be a strong contender for the Turner Prize. NEVER, after almost 20 years of gaming, have i been so encaptulated by a game such as this. Ever heard of Laser Squad from ages ago? Ever played the XCOM series on the PC? Did you enjoy them? If so, you'll be pleased to hear that the Gollop brothers, who wrote the Laser Squad and the XCOM games (well, apart from the ones that followed XCOM: Apocalypse) are back (their company is called CODO Technologies), and they've been busy creating a play by email turn based strategy game which is loosely based on Laser Squad.
