Advantages: Fun to play, good graphics, variety of weapons, reinvents co--op gameplay

Disadvantages: Some stuttering problems with certain computers, only 2 campaigns out of 4 in vs

After hearing about this game for the first time, i knew it was going to be great, i mean whats better than shooting thousands of zombies running at you with full speed.

And i can tell you, this game did meet my expectations. Left 4 Dead is a survival first person shooter that relies heavily on teamwork and co-operation. Left 4 dead is made by VALVe, the makers of games such as Team Fortress and portal. Left 4 Dead puts you in the shoes of one of four survivors: Francis, Bill, Louis or Zoey. The story of the game is that a mutated version of rabies has been spread and is infecting humans. The objective of left 4 dead is to survive a certain Campaign, each consisting of four levels and then finishing with a finale. In Left 4 dead you will incounter many hordes of zombies and also special infected types, such as the hunter who will pounce you and start ripping you to pieces. To counter these hordes of zombies you have a variety of weapons to your disposal such as the shotgun and uzi, but enemys arnt the only obsticals you will face in this game. In certain parts of the game, there will be certain events where you will have to trigger something e.g calling a lift which will then cause hordes of zombies to run to your location, or a car alarm which will go off if you shoot it, summoning a mega horde.

Left 4 dead has 2 gamemodes and is focused mostly on multiplayer. the two game modes are co-op, which allows you to play the campaing with people online, or versus, which allows you to be infected and go against other players, trying to kill them no matter what.

Overall, i would give left 4 dead a 10/10, as i think its a blast to play and has lots of replayability.
