Left4Dead brings back the co-op (Left 4 Dead (PC))
Member Name: silves89
Advantages: It's social and fun Disadvantages: I sometimes wish there were more scenarios
The first multi-player cooperative game I played was Quake. I used to put it on Nightmare difficulty mode and play through with a mate. It was us against the computer. Online multiplayer took off in the following decade but the team element was always you and some other guys vs some other dudes. That was lots of fun, even when everyone started playing Counter Strike instead of Quake. Left4Dead is the only game I have played since those original coop games of Quake on a badly put together, flaky home network that felt like me and a friend against the world. That's a lie, World of Warcraft was like that except I didn't play enough and my friends out-leveled me and I ended up playing with strangers. But Left4Dead you can play with the same guys and you improve together. You figure out tricks to beat the zombie apocalypse scenarios, like flicking the switch that brings the hoards and then running to a little room to hide. And if you don't stick together and help eachother out, then, in the space of five minutes, you could find all your brains eaten. Summary: Lets you play through the zombie apocalypse with your mates and great fun |
