Advantages: Great Online Co-Op, Funny, good characters, Zombies!!

Disadvantages: Only 4 campaigns

I love this online multiplayer game...Left4Dead has no story so to speak. There are four parts or movies that take roughly half an hour or so to play depending on your difficulty. The stories for all of them are simple, get to a set point and call for the transport out of there.
All the campaigns though have an original backdrop. No Mercy takes place in a hospital, Blood Harvest takes place in a cornfield. Dead Air takes place in an Airport and Death Toll takes place in an isolated town.
The gameplay in Left 4 Dead is quite simply. Each campaign has five parts, your goal is to get to the safehouse at the end of each chapter, restock and kill more zombies. You start with an Uzi and a Shotgun but later on you can move up to better weapons and explosives. You can also throw gas cans to start fires which is always fun. The game has great combat and with an easy melee button it's a lot of fun. The game is very addictive but one desires new weapons. Luckily Valve has given new weapons in updates in the past and I am sure they will again.

Each level is well designed with loads of action When the action is frentic, the game is insane. You feel like you're in a movie and that you are just inhuman. The combat is extremely fun the zombies reacting to the shots pumped into them. The controls intuitive, will have no difficulty learning and playing Left 4 Dead.
Overall the graphics are good and The game looks fantastic with hundreds of zombies on screen with no slow down. It runs well on most PC's The game has nice visual effects to with some amazing physics. The gore is also fantastic.
The sound is also atmospheric, the game has a spooky soundtrack which fits perfectly into the game world. The characters come to life through the voice acting. The zombie sound effects are creepy the wailings and screeches adding to the atmospheric effect.
Left 4 Dead is an superb game with simple gameplay. The online mode is the best and there are future updates and maps promised

Pros: Amazing zombie killing co-op action, four campaigns each unique, challenging, superb versus mode, gory atmosphere, future mods and maps, excellent replayability no two games spawn enemies the same way.

Cons: A bit short.

Overall: A most atmospheric online first person shootemup
