Legacy of Kain - Defiance (PC)

Prior to obtaining this, I'd never played a Legacy of Kain game before. LOK:Defiance follows on from LOK: Soul Reaver 2 in which Kain saved Raziel's life by taking the Soul Reaver from him. This causes Kain to be flung back in time. You will play as both Kane and Raziel in Defiance and will also switch between the spectral and material realms. Kain seeks the Timestreamer to discover how he ended up back in time. The fifth in the Legacy of Kain series, LoK: Defiance follows the epic drama of three major races -- vampire, human and Hylden, All three in an intense fight to the death for control of the world. The story is massive, perhaps even matching the complexities of the Metal Gear Solid series. Gameplay is solid but not amazing, and you can play as one of two vampires: Kain or Raziel. The combat system is pretty good and I enjoyed the fighting aspect of this game.
