Advantages: nice music and graphics
Disadvantages: boring gameplay, average story
Lost: The Video Game aka Lost Via Domus is a very mediocre game with decent graphics, simple puzzles and little to know replay value.
You play as Elliot Maslow and navigate him through various levels, which normally require you to fix fuse boxes with screws as well as other boring things.
You get to interact with many memorable characters from the show, (Jack, Kate, Sun, Sawyer, Michael, Claire) and this is one of the few highlights of the game. Some of the cast from Lost lend their voices to the game. Other voice actors are used for the rest of the characters which is a shame since some of the voice acting is a little off, especially Sawyer who seems to give a slightly over-exaggerated southern accent.
Music is pretty good. You have a mixture of fast and mellow tunes which play periodically depending on the action that takes place.
Overall the game isn't really impressive. It plays more like a fancy tech demo than an actual game. The graphics are nice and the music is great but the gameplay brings it all down. Probably best to rent this first before deciding to buy. Hopefully when the show ends, a proper lost game with a compelling story and interesting gameplay will emerge.
Summary: A very bland game. Rent first
