Set in the world of 1950's/60's America, Lucius is about a satanic boy who is the child of the Devil and whose sole aim is to murder whoever his Devil father wishes. The game has a free roam aspect to it, as you have the ability to walk round the stately home without being tied down to any missions. However it is essentially a point, click and find game due to there being a number of clickable options to complete your devilish tasks in a certain way to progress through the story.
I would strongly recommend to any religious followers or believers to think again about buying this game, as it follows the satanic followings as well as sacrifices and symbols. This game can get very disturbing so i would highly rely on its 18 rating as i'm sure if the ratings could go any higher, this game would.
Gameplay is quite fun although there are many glitches and saving errors that really can spoil the overall game. As you progress through the game you unlock more powers and abilities to help you through the many different levels and missions to progress through the story. With abilities like mind control and telekinesis this game could be closely related to the abilities found in 'Destroy All Humans!' a popular game found on the Xbox and playstation 2.
One problem that i have round a lot of people are running into is the fact that you may not be able to play this game if you do not have an internet connection or a steam account, as this game requires Steam activation which some people may not have access to despite this gaming having no multi-player and it being a single player game only.
Pricing for this game is very reasonably as it is cheaply priced, £6.99 on Amazon, £8.25 on Play.Com, and provides and interesting storyline with a unique playing style. If they could improve the glitches and overall gameplay i'm sure this game would be rated fairer among reviewers. As well as removing the fact that you need a Steam account with internet connection to play it.
I enjoyed playing this game quite a bit, even though a majority of the scenes i did find quite disturbing, and the constant glitching and saving points being poor did put me off this game several times while i was attempting to play it, it is worth giving it a try.
I'd decided to play this game after seeing a popular YouTuber 'PewDiePie' play it on his video channel. I'd say, if you're thinking about buying this game, go watch some videos on Youtube to see if the game would we right for you, and to understand better upon whether or not it would be a game you would enjoy playing.
Overall it's an Okay game but some scenes can be very disturbing and can play on your religious beliefs while trying to complete the game. Very buggy, not enough save points, but for the money this game is worth it.
