MW3 - Still alive! (Mech Warrior 3 (PC))

Advantages: Good graphics (even now), Good sound, Fun gameplay.

Disadvantages: Hmm...none really. missions can be hard, I suppose.

This game is great! It captured a great deal of my time, when I was using my windows 98 machine, but sadly, once i sold that, i haven't played the game since. (Although there is MechWarrior 4....) The game play is addictive, and once you destroy one Mech with a flame thrower (The best way I always though, due tot he fact it goes up like a nuke from over heating! ) you're gonna be coming back for more! There is a story line, but i never thought it was that great, I liked the quick battle.
The graphics for the game were good, and even look good now, in our world of multishader technology, and high resolution.
The sound is good too, with realistic explosions, and comm channels buzzing as you get hit. Weapons sound good, and satisfying as they obliterate your target.
In conclusion, this game is still great if you have it, or if you can pick it up cheaply, but otherwise go for Mechwarrior 4!

Summary: Great if you still have it, but worth buying MW4.
