Messiah seemed to take as long to be released as the Millennium Dome has to fulfil it's targets. But, unlike the Dome, it did eventually happen, and the results are impressive. Messiah is an original, well thought out game, in which you play Bob, an Angel sent from heaven to help erasicate the scum of the earth. For the player, this means posessing various characters and using them to progress from level to level, often leaving a deal of carnage in your wake. Now it's not an easy game, and the puzzles aren't always logical, but Messiah is a good deal of fun - violent, but with an edge of silliness, and you can't help but be attached to Bob.
