Based upon the minature toy car franchise of the same name, Micro Machines is a suprisingly charming and addictive top-down racing game released back in 1991. Unlike any other racing game I can think of, Micro Machines allows you to tear around various household locations including desktops, kitchen worksurfaces, garden sheds and beaches, navigating your way around obstacles such as sandcastles, pot plants, coffee mugs whilst navigating jumps set up using books and the like whilst sticking to a makeshift track painted onto the floor in chalk.
