Advantages: Realtime Weather, Lots of scenarios, Excellant graphics

Disadvantages: Not enough hours in the day to play it, 2.2Gb install, Needs a fast PC for full graphics to be used

Microsoft flight Simulator 2002 professional edition has more features than you can shake a stick at. With everything from a Cessna to a Jumbo. Scenarios, from sight seeing to commercial cargo flights. The scenary is amazing, though to get the full benifit you need a pretty fast machine, though my 800mhz Duron gets very fine and acceptable performance. The training is very good in this edition, you feel you are being trained. In previous editions the A.I. was very poor. What do I like best about this edition, is it the inclusion of all the FS2000 scenarios, or maybe flying over the pyramids at night, no, I think it has got to be that you can download real time weather for wherever you are in the world. So is this the ultimate flight sim? The answer is a resounding YES!

I enjoyed reading what you have written, but it just left me gagging for more information! If you do add more info. at any stage let me know and I'd be happy to come back and re-read and possibly re-rate.

Good op, but as someone thinking about getting FS2002, I would have liked a bit more information about what it's like to play. I'm still on FS 6.0 so I know vaguely what the Microsoft sims are like, but why is FS2002 so much better?
