Disadvantages: short life
How can Bill gates and his chums disregard the fans of this great game. I bought Midtown Madness on the great reviews it got and the incredible screenshots I saw and I wasn't dissapointed. It really is a fun, exciting game and well worth the money. When I saw the box saying "Chicago Edition" I expected that Microsoft would be bringing out an add on pack with other cities and cars to enjoy. But no, instead they produce Midtown Madness 2, a different game that you have to fork out full price for again. Why couldn't they just have brought out an expansion pack like they did with Age Of Empires? I was extremely dissapointed when I found out about the 2nd game because I was just starting to get bored with the first one. There isn't really that much to do, driving around in Chicago, with only 8 cars to choose from (assuming you unlock them all). I don't deny that this is a great game but I just wonder whether the games graphics are that bad that they need a new game to get more people to buy it, and so soon after the 1st game came out. I would reccomend anyone thinking of buying this game to buy the new one and install this game from a friend (it doesn't need a CD). And have fun!
