This game is one that I love, as these type of games are fast and enjoyable, this game is really fast and you do need to master your skills before going to deep into the game, the graphics I think are good although now slightly dated, and the sound is still up to par with most other similar games, definately best played agains't your pal, as usually it is the only chance you will get to really beat up on him ( except when your out for a drink and he won't pay his way, that is). The latest in this great fighting series goes 3D and with it harder opponents and more complex special moves. Every move and 10-hit combo is listed here with a mini-section for each character and even hidden characters are revealed and the book shows how they can be achieved. As this strategy guide is official, I have found that more content is included in this book than others. Mortal Kombat 4 on the PC is a ludicrously violent, gory, and fast 3d fighting game. As anyone who has played any one of the series knows, it's a fight to the death, two martial arts combatants, often not entirely human, (for example, one character is a god - literally) fighting in a small 3d arena in which you can move, jump, side-step etc and even use weapons. Initially a free download via the web but I got it form PC zone cover disk saved my phonebill. It is now available in the shops as part of the Wing commander Prophecy gold package. The missions are frantic, and there is a lot action on screen with no slowddown at all even when things get very hetic If you have wing commander prophecy you will love this.
