I was being pressed by my partner to let him go out and get a new game to play. He happened to have read some previews on motoGP and being an avid bike follower and player he was eager, very eager to get this latest game. The day it was released his copy was waiting for him, and to say I haven't seen much of him since, indicates the game has kept him entertained. Equally well, I have heard little from him in the way of asking me to either read his manual for him, or help him set up the game, so therefore it is definately easy to install. It has kept him entertained for at least a month now, and after a months practice he has now gone online with it. A bit annoying he has to play it through game spy, but it can be played through a firewall, which is an added benefit. He is well experienced with other online game formats and finds this one a pleasure to play with. So far he has experienced no lag, rarely gets booted out of game spy and apart from a few young players needing their mouths washing out, he still is enjoying the game tremendously. The game is designed to encourage you to practice practice and practice. Their are seasons to take part in and depending on your expertise with your bike, you can unlock other tracks and bikes, even..... Valentino Rossi. So, for a game that didnt cost an arm and a leg, it has given good value for money and provided long lasting entertainment. Yes you do need a good computer to run it on, with all games of this ilk, the better your online connection, the smoother the game will run, but it can be played happily at home or online. The manual doesn't contain much information but theres enough to get you going, just not enough for him to work out how to unlock all the extras within the game. The main thing that lets it down is the quality of the MOtoGP2 UK website. Interchangable gear change ratios would have also been a good improvement. But apart from all that and the basic manual, which could have be
en backed up by a good website, it is despite everything a well good and wicked game, well worth buying, providing you have an understanding partner or parents
