I've played most of the Mystery Case File games before and this was another great game from the series. I have played the first two Ravenhearst games and they have been perfect but I think this one stands out the most because its a little different from what the first games are.
The story is set three years after the second game ended and you once again play the Detective who is responsible for uncovering more secrets of the haunted house Ravenhearst. However, this time, you have to deal with creepy Charles, the son of the late owner of the house and have to release the spirits of his former residents before Charles can succeed with his plans.
The story is a fantasty type game because it deals with spirits but actually its quite good and digging deep into the past of the former residents of Ravenhearst is fantastic. Its quite creepy though and probably not the best game for younger children but for me, its not a horror game.
There are so many things to do with lots of puzzles to solve and items to find. The hidden objective element makes this game unique though at times its a hard game. I have had to use walk through's in order to progress but maybe that's just me!
Overall, Escape from Ravenhearst is a fantastic and worthwhile game to consider.
