I bought Myth the Fallen Lords as part of the compilation Ten Tons of Fun. After trying out most of the games, it was apparent that Myth was easily the best game here. It was first released in 1997 and is a 3D strategy game based on fantasy adventure characters. The standard characters available to you are knights, archers, wizards and dwarves that throw firebombs and blow everything up. The game is highly addictive and each level has a target to reach in order to proceed to the next level, and this is explained to you before the level starts. The sequel to the best selling Myth: The Fallen Lords transports the player to a grim and bloody fantasy world where Undead hordes are running rampant again. The gameplay consists of clicking on units and telling them where to go and who to whack but there are optional attacks that certain units can make which will turn the tide of battle when effectively employed. You can rotate the camera view to watch the action from any angle and zoom in and out to get down and dirty with the bloodshed or obtain a grand tactical view.
