Everyone loves driving games but some are better than others. I myself liked Network Q Rally Championship and Driver. Then due to advances in computing power Need For Speed Road Challenge was released. I thought it would be just an average game but I was proved to be wrong…

Everything about this game screams quality. The range of cars that are available is vast. They range from the superb Ferrari F50 to the outstanding McClaren F1 plus everything in between like BMWs, Jaguars, and Pontiacs etc. So there are plenty of cars but it’s the graphics of them that makes this game different. The graphics are simply incredible. The cars skid, shine, spin, not to mention crash and show realistic damage. You can also choose the colour of the car as well as choose hardtop or convertible for certain models. One interesting feature is the ability to have a 360º view of the interior of the real car.

So the cars are good but what about the tracks, these are pretty dam good too. They range from zooming through mountainous terrain with snow falling and avalanches happening around you to rocketing through towns with tight corners and signs to avoid. The tracks don’t let this game down either. And you can even do a tournament where by you enter your can and win money, and then you have to upgrade the car and enter in harder circuits. This in time unlocks more cars and tracks and levels allowing you to get more from the game.

My favourite feature of the game is the Hot Pursuit option, which allows you to be chased by the police. Or you can go the cop if you so desire. This is harder than you think as they use real police techniques like boxing you in as well as roadblocks and stingers to catch you. That is where the fun comes in.

I have absolutely no bad things at all to say about this game and I recommend it to everyone who likes driving games. It is definitely the best one I have ever seen. Get behind the wheel of this one and
I am sure you will not be disappointed.
