This is a quality game based around true events that happened during the American Civil war. In fact, this game had already been attempted in the late 80's/early 90's by a game of very similar name, North and South. This game, however, delves much deeper into the "god game" genre than its predecessor and relies much more heavily on tactic and positioning that the older game. Although im not American I do find their history interesting and even more strange than that is the fact that nearly every person,town and state was involved in this war.
