Operation Flashpoint is as far as im concerned one of the best action games ever made. Operation Flashpoint Resistance is the second part of the Ofp series and where Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crises lets you play the position of the Americans in Resistance you play the Russians.

Unlike many games OFP is just one Gigantic map where all the missions are played. You are free to do what you want and can go wherever you want on the map. The missions have objectives but you have to think of your own best way to complete those objectives.

By far the best part of this game is the online side. You can play online using the multiplayer side in the game options or you can play via Gamespy Arcade online. The choose of types of games are brilliant. You can play 1v1 by having to take towns to earn money then using the money to build your own base then destroy the others players base. Or you can play 2v2 or even 8v8 in a capture the flag games where you simply team up and try and get the other sides flag and return it to your base to get a point.

There are loads of different types of maps and game types when playing online that it keeps the game very much alive. If you like games where you havent got to always follow routes and like to do things your own way then this game is the one for you.
