3D Pinball Space Cadet (PC):
... my this is my fav game ever! It s a computerised pinball game, and it comes on most computers as part of the free Windows bundle. Basically you use keys to simulate the flippers on a complex pinball machine made up of so many different lights, buzzers, holes and challenges. If this were a real pinball machine it would be the best ever. OK, I have played hours and hours on this game for one simple reason; there i... Minesweeper (PC) ... have never understood this little free game that comes with every PC I have ever used, so let me look it up! OK, you have to clear a minefield by clicking on boxes ina grid of squares. If there is a mine in there, it s game over, but if you can click all the mine free boxes you win. Every time you click a mine-free box it tells you how many boxes around it contain a mine, thus there is a mathematical way of winning the game. I have never ever completed this game. It seems to be one of those simple little games we all play from time to time out of boredom. I just don t possess the logic needed to complete it, despite reading about an aspergers boy who did it in like f... Animaniacs Splatball (PC) ... are presented from an overhead isometric view which focuses on the player s character in play. I find this perspective difficult for a shooting title as one must become very comfortable with the central crosshair near the player. This small speck of colour on the screen determines where the paintball will travel, and can become hard to aim in periods requiring quick action. The stages are otherwise very colourful albeit slightly "flat" and two dimensional looking. The characters were also well drawn and each reflect their television counterparts appropriately. The sound effects are a significant burden to this game. While each character sports a vocal t... Read the full review: Animaniacs Splatball (PC) by thole09 |

X Com Collectors Edition (PC) ... to reduce the worlds countries favour (and thus funding) for your organisation. The Second game, Xcom: Terror From The Deep, uses exactly the same format as UFO, except this time places the action underwater with the Alien menace coming from the unknown depths of the worlds seas, and boasts bigger maps, new graphics, new weapons and monsters and a much harder difficultly level, offering yet another utterly addictive and absorbing gaming experience that will both tax the gray matter and rattel the nerves. The third and final game, Xcom Apocalypse, is set within the confines of a single city isntead of the whole planet Earth, and once again relies on a similar mix of...
