Advantages: RedAlert game play
Disadvantages: Graphics
As this PC game has been in my selection for many years, I still find my self playing it once in a blue moon and to be honest its one of the best red alert alternatives I played in years. Obvisouly they are many better games out there on the market, I would loved to hear your opinions on them.
The game is based around Humans, Robots and Cyborgs which can battle together or against each other in single fighting mode. Also there is a added career mode which gives gamers that chance to battle they self through the story line and conquer your enemies on the way. To be honest I've grown up with game and I've seen some of the negative reviews on different sites, to me this game in my eyes is considerable terrific as it falls into the old school catergroies eg AgeOfTheEmpires and RedAlert.
A great feature towards this game is the way developers have gained customers a chance to either increase or decrease the difficlty level, three normal options easy, normal and hard, to me any game should have, thumbs up.
As far as the interface goes you have to admire it, maybe take a few steps back as you have to remember the game was released as long time ago, it shows a lot of potential.
In any game like this you need power/ore to run any of your base's buildings on the game. While credits are needed by obtained refining ore with a selected structure, this is necessary to buy or build units and structures to further you base through out your game. As young child I used to play countless hours on this game "back in the day" to me this a PC game is something to experiment with and enjoy.
Summary: A nice little game to add to the collection
