If you are an avid wargamer, then you should know this name by now. In keeping with its past successes the Panzer General 3: Scorched Earth is a whole new look at a well developed method. The 3D effects are wonderful, along with the detail of the units. I was impressed with the graphics and the landscape, no more hexes a darker color to represent a hill, you can actually watch your units start up the incline and roll down thier sides. What I like most about this is how they refined some of the rougher points from Panzer General 3D Assault. Panzer General 2 is a turn based wargame which simulates the European Theatre of conflict during World War 2. The are around 30 scenarios which can be played individually or as a campaign, with your performance in each mission having an effect on which scenario you progress onto. You can command the British, American or Russian forces, or the Germans including their allies such as Italy and Finland. Each scenario takes place on a larg hex based map, each one being between 4 and 12 screens in size.
