The Panzer General series of games are based on World War II. You can choose to be the Germans, the Americans, or the British, and each time the scenarios are a bit different. The scenarios that follow the first one are different based on how you did previously, and units you use carry forward into the next battle. You are able to control a mixture of different unit types and are limited by a differing factor, depending on which game you are playing.
