Brilliant game that can be played for free

Papa's Freezeria is a game that has been produced as part of the popular 'Papa's' range of games by Flipline Studios. The games all focus on fast food and they are all strategy games in that you need to serve customers their orders. The games use time management as a key focus because you need to serve customers aswell as making their food. Papa's Freezeria can be downloaded for a small fee (less than £5) from various sites but the full game can also be played for free on the official Flipline studios website (www.flipline.com).

The freezeria serves frozen desserts. Customers can choose their flavour eg. strawberry, chocolate, cookie dough etc and they can then add sauces and toppings.

The gameplay begins when the customer enters the shop. You will then need to take their order which will be written down on an order pad. You then set about making the order, mixing it all up and then adding the toppings. There are lots of different aspects here that require accuracy and time management including the time that you mix the dessert, the accuracy of toppings and the amount of time it takes for the customer to receive their order.

The customer then marks you on different aspects of the service including the order station, the way their dessert has been mixed and the neatness of the toppings. This marking determines how big a tip you will receive. The tips can then be spent at the end of the level on upgrades for the shop.

The game is fast paced and you will find yourself rushing from one area of the shop to the others trying to cope with all of the customers and their various orders. It is fun and although there is lots to do I never find it overwhelming and instead I enjoy each level and the challenges it brings.

The graphics are good and the colours used are bright and interesting whilst also being realistic. They arent the most detailed graphics but at the end of the day this is designed to be a fun, animated game and the graphics work just perfectly for this.

I like this game and I enjoy playing it for half an hour on the laptop every few days. I am looking forward to trying out the other games in the series and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes time management and strategy games.
