Pearl harbor: The day of Infamy

released by Activision in 2004 this is a 3D shoot 'em up based around the Japanese surprise attacks on Pearl Harbor on the 7th of December 1941.

Since this game is about 5 years old there shouldn't be any problems of running it on any fairly modern computer.

In this game you take control of several anti aircraft guns from browning .50 cals to the bofors 40 mm to heavy flak guns on several ships, including the USS Missouri the site for the Japanese surrender would take place in 4 years after the drop of the two atomic bombs on japan. When controlling the guns you must defend your ship to the very last bullet, once your ships health reaches zero its game over and you must start the mission again.

The missions are pretty simple but you can get easily overwhelmed when the screen is full of dive bombers and torpedo planes aiming at you.

the game is extremely cheap and i would say worth it if you find it in a bargain bin somewhere for a few hours shoot 'em up mayhem.
